Cindy Lin is a Taiwanese American still life photographer.

She has received a MA degree with Distinction from University of Westminster (London, UK) in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography, and a RNCP (the French equivalent of a MA degree) from Speos Photographic Institute (Paris, France). She has an undergraduate degree from University of California at Berkeley.

Cindy's personal work deals with social issues inspired by identity shifts, immigration and contemporary gender issues. They are often expressed through still life and food in studio settings. She works in both digital and analog, primarily in medium and large formats. Recently, her practices shifted towards creating work with archive images, sewing and collage to create 3D photographic objects.

Prior to becoming a photographer, Cindy worked as a home stager in San Francisco Bay Area for 12+ years. She still teaches styling and home staging business practices internationally through her company Staged4more and previously at UAL Chelsea. As a home stager and home staging educator, Cindy has been published in Wall Street Journal, CBS News, San Francisco Chronicle, Apartment Therapy and many notable press outlets. Her previous styling and home staging work can be viewed here: home staging, event design and visual.

Cindy splits her time between San Francisco, Taipei and Europe throughout the year.
